JLDSC Special Recognition Award

​The annual Channel Swimming & Piloting Federation dinner took place this weekend, celebrating the remarkable Channel achievements of the past year.
Each year, the JLDSC presents a Special Recognition Award, and this year it was awarded to Steve Stievenart. Steve completed his Channel crossing on 2nd May 2025 in an incredible time of 16 hours and 22 minutes, marking the earliest successful swim of the season and a truly outstanding accomplishment.
