DECEMBER
What a beautiful morning for a Christmas Pudding Swim!
41 people donned their finest festive outfits and 35 of those people were crazy enough to enter the water! We raised £133.50 to put towards a defibrillator and more is still coming in!
A huge thank you to the Beau Rivage for opening up their doors and serving hot drinks to thaw us out! Another big thanks to Nuno from Marks and Spencer Jersey for donating so many festive treats for us!
Well done to Sally Minty-Gravett for winning the Xmas pudding for her fabulous outfit and a huge thank you to Annette Campbell for organising the event!

NOVEMBER
Another incredible Annual Dinner Dance. A huge thank you to the Dinner Ladies - Pat and Marilyn - for making the evening possible and decorating the room so brilliantly! And also thank you to Martine for being the photographer for the evening - all photographs from the night can be found on our Facebook page!
OCTOBER
Congratulations to all who took part in this years Junior Series - kindly sponsored by Granite Products!
A special well done to category winners Ella Baker, Rory Docherty, Eleanor Docherty, Samuel Noel, Ella-Mae Turnbull and Toby Brydon - who were presented with JLDSC mugs lovingly made by Julie Pearce of Seymour Ceramics! All participants were gifted certificates for each of the 3 swims they took part in and all swimmers got a coaster also made by Julie! |

Senior Championships
Well done to the brave 7 that took on the ‘chop’ today for the Senior Club Championships!

Junior Series/Junior Club Championships
A huge well done to all of the juniors that have taken part in this years Junior Series - sponsored by Granite Products. An amazing effort from all across the 3 distances - results TBC.
Sunday 17th September was also our Junior Club championships for all swimmers under the age of 18. Congratulations to Toby Brydon and Elsa Wanless to were first girl and boy home. |
Guinness Swim in memory of Charlie Gravett

A great turn out for the 'Guinness Swim' in memory of Charlie Gravett. Congratulations to Rhianna Reynolds and Richard Flambard as the fastest female and male on the day. Well done to Toby Brydon and Samuel Noel who were the first juniors in.
A huge thank you to Jo Slota-Newson who donated cakes as a thank you to the club - they were very well received! |

JUNE
Junior Relay Qualifier
We have two junior round Jersey relays planned for later in the season. All 12 juniors completed their qualifying swims this month - a personal best for them all! They swam for an hour and a half, had an hour out on land and then returned to the water for a further hour swim. A HUGE well done to Clara, Kaia, Jaimie, Lachlan, Eleanor, Aoife, Toby and Samuel. Also a big thank you to all who volunteered as kayakers/land crew/kayak transporters! Without you successes like these wouldn't be possible!
McLaughlin Memorial Swim A beautiful lunchtime swim at Green Island for the McLaughlin Memorial Swim. The McLaughlin family attended and shared some lovely memories. Sunshine, swimming and cakes - what more could you ask for! Congratulations to Dee Richards for being awarded the McLaughlin Memorial trophy to mark her final year as president of the club. |

Quiz Night
This years quiz night (25.03.23) was a great success. A huge thank you to: Pete Blandin for his questions (they made us all dig deep )!! The Optomist Club for the use of their Clubhouse and Bar The donations received for the raffle table (special thank you Chantelle Rose for going to De Gruchys and Sandpiper for some prizes) Last but not least to everyone who came (some faces we haven’t seen for a while, it was lovely to see you) and made the relaxed fun evening that it was. Swimarathon
What an amazing turn out for this years Swimarathon (11.03.23)! We raised a grand total of £1155.10 !! Thanks to all those that joined us and donated!!
